AT a gala evening held in Abergavenny Market Hall, presented by Sarah Dickins and hosted by Elin Jones, last Thursday, Quayside Tearoom, Lawrenny, was awarded West Wales Regional Winner in the Eating Out - Cafes and Tearooms Category.

Andy Knowles (pictured) accepted the award on behalf of all of his team.

He said: "It is a real privilege to be recognised by the True Taste Awards for all the hard work which everyone at Quayside has put in."

Quayside is currently hibernating for the winter, but will be back open for the 2010 season on March 18.
