A Narberth business, A. J. Rees and Sons Ltd., has come runner-up in the regional finals of this year's British Small Business Champion Awards.
Owned by Andrew and Janice Rees, the High Street based business was nominated for the award by Mr. Gwyndaf Williams, business manager for LTSB Bank.
Established in 1988, the business has expanded from a retail butchers shop and now has an established reputation in retail and wholesale butchery services throughout Pembrokeshire and west Carmarthenshire.
Mr. Williams said: "I was delighted that Andrew's hard work and commitment has been recognised at such a high profile award ceremony.
"I decided to nominate the business for delivering a quality product and the commitment to customer service by Andrew and his staff. Andrew and Janice can be proud of their achievements."
Andrew and Janice attended an awards ceremony at the Celtic Manor Resort, where they were presented with their award by top Welsh sports personality, Jonathan Davies.
