The Friends of East Williamston Jubilee Park have already started working in the park after the summer.

A keen team turned up on Saturday and thankfully the rain held off. Brambles and hedges have been growing well, but quick work was made of trimming back and clearing undergrowth to make paths safer. A team also started work on repairing some of the paths.

The Friends will now meet every first Saturday of each month for a couple of sociable hours in the fresh air maintaining the park and the next get-together will be on Saturday, October 5, from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm. New members and families are always welcome to go along. Afterwards, there will be refreshments in the East Williamston Village Hall.
