It was great to see so many volunteers attending the litter pick in Pembroke Dock and especially newcomers Michelle from the First and Last, Guy Anderson from the Martello Tower and Audrey from London Road.

Audrey is our oldest volunteer being 81 years young. How is that for giving up her time to join us and get our lovely town litter free?

“We achieved lots this time and the atmosphere was brilliant which allowed us to do the job properly,” said organiser, Mayor, Clr. Peter Kraus.

“We really missed our dedicated Pauline Boswell on this month’s pick due to illness. I hope she makes a full recovery and quickly.”

He added: Tesco have been fantastic hosts once more and really looked after us, thank you.”

The next litter pick will be on Thursday, March 17, starting at 11 am outside McDonald’s.

“I look forward to seeing you all then, including the children from the Community School in Bush Street and those from Pennar Community School.

Together we can do it. Let us be proud of our town,” Clr. Kraus concluded.
