Now in its fifth year, Art Out West is now firmly established as an exciting showcase of artistic talent in South Pembrokeshire.

During August, 18 artists and craftspeople will be opening their studios and homes to the public.

This is an opportunity to meet and chat to artists and view a wide range of work, including stained glass, lampwork glass, great sounding guitars made out of upcycled materials, sculpture, printmaking, paintings, photography and even a polar ark carved from wood.

New this year is the Art in the Garden exhibition at the Stackpole Walled Gardens, with artworks sited around this historic, working environment.

If all this inspires you, there is the opportunity to take part in various creative workshops during the month, from sand drawing and beach art to woodcarving, willow weaving, pottery and pinhole photography.

Most studios are open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout August to enable visitors to plan a day out visiting several of the venues on the trail.

The event will be launched at Stackpole Walled Gardens on August 1, from 6-8 pm, with live music from the Skylarks and Dockyard Guitars, refreshments and the ever-popular raffle of work by participating artists.
