THE Warren Group are the students of Arthur and Bim Giardelli, who meet each month at the Golden Plover Gallery near Pembroke, to take instruction of watercolour painting.
Every year, the Warren Group get together and hold and exhibition of their work in the gallery at the Library at Pembroke Dock.
The seven students who are showing this work this year are Marlene Barker Williams, Dinah Moon, Sue Rees, Ronda Thomas, Rebecca Brinton, Carol Brinton Thomas and Anita Williams.
The pictures, all in watercolour and some with ink, portray the Pembrokeshire countryside and the interesting aspects of both inside and outside the home.
All the pictures have a warm glow and vibrancy that can only be achieved when you paint 'on the spot' and the subject matter is evocative of house and gardens and hedgerows.
It is an exhibition of excellent work, which is well worth a visit.
The exhibition of paintings runs throughout October and can be viewed during library hours.
