Army cadets visited Manor House Wildlife Park, St. Florence, recently.
Several members of the Army Cadets from both Narberth and Tenby detachments of Dyfed and Glamorgan Army Cadet Force, took to the ground with garden spades to plant approximately 600 trees.
This was to go towards part of their Cadet in the Community and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme, while at the same time helping with the conservation of the environment.
The venue for the activity was by the kind permission of the owners of Manor House, who gave the cadets a very warm welcome for their efforts.
Anyone wishing to join the cadets, can visit the detachments at Tenby on Tuesday evenings and at Narberth on Wednesday evenings, between 7 and 9 pm, or 'phone 01437 763685 for more information.
