Tomorrow (Saturday, June 28) is Armed Forces Day. It is an opportunity to acknowledge the contribution made by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty's Armed Forces and show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community from currently serving troops to service families and from veterans to cadets. The Whitland 2420 (Whitland and District) Squadron Air Training Corps will convene at the Whitland Memorial Hall at 11.30 am to salute the Armed Forces Day flags and hold a parade through the town, which will end with an open day and BBQ at ATC Squadron Headquarters (next to the fire station). Your help is requested to spread the word so that as many ex-service people, organisations and members of the public as possible join the parade and subsequent celebrations.
