The sun shone brightly as 10 members of the South Pembrokeshire Hunt Pony Club travelled to Newcastle Emlyn to take part in a triathlon with a difference - not a bicycle in sight, rather air pistols, swimming goggles and running spikes were the order of the day!

Our senior boys included Jack Goldsworthy, who won 'best shoot' finishing in third, and Fred Meyrick who finished fifth. Our juniors were Alex John, who finished fourth, and Skye Murray, who finished sixth, clocking up a PB in her swim.

The biggest group, the minis included Brooke Jones, Emily Jones, Thomas Woodhall and Oliver Bowen who were all taking part for the first time! Jamie Goldsworthy finished seventh and Iwan Davies finished in second place, taking 'best shoot' for the group.

Many congratulations to you all - a super effort! Especially big congratulations to Alex John and Iwan Davies who will be making the trip to Milton Keyes next month to take part in the national triathlon championships - good luck to you both!
