THREE leading storytellers will be touring Pembrokeshire's schools and libraries next month to mark National Storytelling Week.
Melissa Holloway, Guto Dafis and Catherine Aran will be spinning yarns in English and Welsh to youngsters fromFebruary 2-6.
The sessions have been organised by Pembrokeshire County Council's library service and the arts office.
Melissa Holloway, who has been telling tales to children since 2002, will be at Manorbier, St. Mark's, Fenton Juniors, Mount Airey, Johnston, Cosheston, Haverfordwest VC and Broad Haven schools.
Guto Dafis, who works in English and Welsh and is also a folk musician, will be visiting Gelli Aur, Cilgerran, Hayscastle, Milford Juniors, Monkton Community, Angle, Ysgol Clydau and Mathry schools.
Meanwhile, professional storyteller and author Catherine Aran will be leading Welsh language story-telling sessions in Fishguard, Haverfordwest and Pembroke Libraries, as well as in Clydau, St. Dogmaels, Tenby Juniors, Brynconin and Narberth schools.
Promoted by the Society for Storytelling, National Storytelling Week aims to raise the profile of storytelling, as well as provide entertainment and enjoyment for children.
