An application for an entertainment licence for the Clarence House Hotel on Tenby's Esplanade was withdrawn this week. A number of objections had been received to the application, which was due to have come before Tuesday's meeting of Pembrokeshire County Council's licensing sub-committee at Haverfordwest. However, after consultation with his legal representative, hotelier Mr. Laurent Phillips withdrew the application to enable noise abatement issues to be addressed.
