With Tenby's train station receiving a floral uplift last week, with Arriva Trains Wales having provided four new planters for the facility, a day is to be pencilled in for parts of the station to be further spruced up.

Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, who is also Tenby In Bloom chairman, told members of the town council at their meeting on Tuesday night, that a day of painting posts and barriers at the station was being lined up for the end of the month or in early June, and that volunteers were being sought to help.

She also said that she was still seeking funding for flowers for the new planters and also volunteers to help out with watering the new addition.
