Sir, Whilst totally agreeing with the Stafford family's opposition to the proposed development at Whitlow/Castle View, the disparaging comments made about the people of Pembroke Dock and Liverpool were disappointing. I have had 35 years contact, through education and sport, with the people of the Dock and count many of them as close personal friends. I would have no hesitation in welcoming any of them as neighbours. Several Liverpudlians have moved to Saundersfoot and have enhanced the life of our village. Part of Saundersfoot's charm is that it has welcomed residents from many parts of the United Kingdom. I came from Llangennech, and have never been treated as an outsider. I sincerely hope that the Staffords will reconsider their anti-social views. Martyn Williams,
