The Friends of South Pembrokeshire Hospital held another very successful coffee morning and table-top sale last Tuesday in Pembroke Town Hall. Their aim is to provide 'extras' which bring comfort to the clients in the Cleddau Reach Day Unit and the patients in the Sunderland Ward.
A photographic display showing what has been purchased recently was on view.
In addition to the usual refreshments of tea, coffee, soft drinks, homemade cakes and biscuits, there was a great variety of stalls, including hand-made gifts, plants, children's toys, clothing, bric-a-brace, greetings cards and good-as-new.
The Friends have found that their recently expanded event is very much appreciated and wish to thank the public for their support.
July is a very busy month for the Friends as the Summer Fete is also held later in the month on Saturday, July 28, at the hospital in the Day Unit and the gardens.
Do go along - whatever the weather! You are assured of a warm welcome and the organisers are pleased to say that Bongo Clive will be there to entertain the children.
Details of the event are being advertised in this newspaper and also Radio Pembrokeshire. There are lots of posters around as well. You will find that everyone is catered for in this good cause.
