On Friday, September 12, Global Connections held their Annual Forum at their impressive new premises at the Eastgate Centre in Pembroke.
Over 30 delegates, including some from Cardiff, Mid and West Wales, attended for a full day of activities. Amongst others there were representatives from schools, Pedec, The Princes Trust, Christian Aid, Cyfanfyd, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire County Council. Global Connections members and staff were also invited to participate.
"Our AGM drew a wide audience of diverse people which reflects the huge level of awareness and interest of development issues here in Pembrokeshire and West Wales," said Amanda Perrins, co-ordinator of Global Connections.
The day comprised of workshops on DFIDs Enabling Effective Support Strategy for Schools and Linking for Sustainable Communities with Cynefin y Werin.
