Tenby's 43rd annual Boxing Day Swim once again proved a huge festive success - of yes it did! Blessed with glorious sunshine in between the week's Christmas storms, this year's event had a 'pantomime' theme and more than 550 hardy 'swimmers' revelled in the always popular Yuletide occasion as they splashed out as dames, ugly sisters, princes and princesses, fairies, dwarfs... and even a pantomime horse. Among them were these colourful characters respresenting the Skanda Vale Hospice, one of the charities to benefit from this year's swim. See this week's paper for a full report and more pictures of the stunning spectacle.
