Tenby Coastguard Rescue Team recently assisted in the evacuation of a male from the town's South Beach to an awaiting ambulance.
The male, aged 43, from Lowestoft, sustained a possible fracture to the lower leg after a fall on the rocks.
The casualty was fishing at Giltar at the Penally end of the beach, when he caught his left foot in a cleft in rocks and felt his leg crack.
He then crawled back from the point to the beach, approximately one kilometre, taking over four hours, before a 999 call was made to request assistance.
