Tenby's coastguard team were called out on Wednesday evening to assist an angler who had fallen on rocks near the town's Castle Hill. They were called out shortly before 8 pm, when the elderly fisherman fell near the bandstand. The team assisted the ambulance crew in stabilising the casualty and putting him onto a stretcher. He was then ferried to the harbour by the RNLI's inshore lifeboat, and conveyed to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, by ambulance.
