A fisherman was airlifted to safety on Sunday evening after becoming cut off by the tide.
Twenty-seven-year-old Mark Poulsom, from Blaenau Gwent, had been fishing at Lydstep Head when he got into trouble shortly after 10 pm.
Mr. Poulsom, who was staying at Lydstep Caravan Park, attempted to climb the cliff to safety, but he became stranded approximately 20 feet up after suffering cramp.
By flashing his torch, he managed to summon the help of fellow holidaymakers at the nearby caravan park, who alerted the site's security guards who then contacted the coastguard.
Tenby coastguard cliff rescue team responded and a helicopter from RAF Chivenor, which was already airborne, was diverted to Lydstep. An ambulance was also called to the scene.
Coastguard Mike Day was lowered down the cliff to Mr. Poulsom, but before he could be recovered, the helicopter arrived on scene and airlifted him to the top of Lydstep Head where he was then checked over by the paramedics.
