Sir,

My partner and I have just come back from a walk around Bosherston. We have walked around there for 30 years or more. We would just drive up and park our car, then walk the way where the old big house was.

Today we drove up and we couldn't believe it; there was a sign there saying that we had to pay to go into the car park.

I was absolutely disgusted with it, so we turned around and parked at the side of the road and walked back.

There was a woman taking the money and I told her what I thought of it. She just said we have got to pay for things, but all we could see was a few signs about.

She said to us 'have a nice day' and I said to her 'we were having one until we came here' and could see we would have to pay for the pleasure of walking around. After all the years, I was so angry about it.

You can't go anywhere in this country these days unless they pop up and charge you for parking. I'm so angry and I'm sure a lot of other Pembroke and Pembroke Dock people will feel the same about it.

Mrs. Diana Doherty,

Pembroke Dock.
