Tenby Museum and Art Gallery has been visited by Angela Burns AM, Conservative Welsh Assembly Member for Carmarthen and South Pembrokeshire. She had heard about the museum’s recent financial plight and visited to offer her support.

Mrs. Burns was given a comprehensive guided tour of the museum by three trustees - Mike Brew, John Ross and Kathy Talbot. She was very impressed with the museum displays and the amount of local information that it offered on subjects ranging from prehistory to 20th century art.

She felt that the museum as it stands today is also a wonderfully stimulating and entertaining place for families and children to visit and said she would make a return visit with her own children.

She later tweeted: “really enjoyed todays visit. Although A&G John (Augustus and Gwen) paintings are wonderful, I liked the sculptures. My children would love the pirates!”
