Hon member of Narberth and Whitland Rotary Club and Dyffryn Taf School headteacher Robert Newsome and his son Alun are pictured leaving Narberth on Saturday to embark on their 5,000-mile round trip above the Arctic Circle to NordKapp in northernmost Norway. The sponsored challenge is to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme which is celebrating its diamond anniversary.
