Picton Castle is opening its gates for a very special evening of fireworks and musical entertainment for Guy Fawkes Night on Friday, November 2. In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death, the evening will feature a live concert with one of the UK's top 'Elvis' performers.

The event, held in the grounds and against the splendid backdrop of Picton Castle, will start with a bang from Narberth-based West Coast Fireworks, who will provide a special pyrotechnic show performed to music.

The NFU is the main sponsor for the evening and programme proceeds will be donated to The British Red Cross.

Susie Philipps from Picton Castle Trust commented: "We are very excited about the firework concert evening which is the first we have ever held at Picton Castle and will be great fun for everyone of all ages.

"We have had a marvellous response so far and tickets are in demand," Mrs. Philipps added. The evening starts at 6.30 pm and there will be food and drink marquees, as well as a traditional bonfire and 'guy' and a £50 prize for the best dressed 'Elvis' look-alike of any age! Pre-booked tickets cost £5 and are available by calling 01437 751326 or by visiting http://www.pictoncastle.co.uk">www.pictoncastle.co.uk
