Local police are hoping to catch thieves who stole fishing rods from Amroth Castle Holiday Park.

Some time overnight on Friday, July 29, two beach caster fishing rods and one Uptiger rod with reels and a stand were stolen from outside a caravan at the holiday park.

Police are asking for anyone who has been approached by persons offering these makes of rods for sale in the area since the time of theft to please come forward with any information.

Members of the public are also advised by the police to keep property locked and secured and out of public view.

Anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, particularly around 1 to 2 am, is asked to contact PC378 Williams at Tenby Police Station on 101.
