Among matters discussed at this month's meeting of Amroth Community Council were the following:

Outstanding issues to be addressed

Road sinking on Amroth Hill by the 30mph signs - clerk to contact Welsh Water.

Dangerous trees at Stepaside needing to be cut back - clerk to write to council.

County Councillor Brinsden's report

PCC was changing and becoming more transparent; consequently a meeting had been arranged for residents to come and talk to the council. They would like to see as many community councillors as possible attend. Nearest meeting will be at Bloomfield, Narberth, March 2, 7-9 pm.

Amroth and District Community Association

The hall was very busy with parties and bookings.

Planning

Extension - Fernleigh, Wesley Close Pleasant Valley (approved); creation of indoor outdoor patio - The Leys, Amroth (no objections).

Correspondence

Bench repair - clerk to contact the firm that had supplied the benches for materials needed. Clr. Harris would arrange for repair.

Other Matters

A tree had fallen covering path SP1/24 from Colby Woods top car park to Thane Cottage. Clerk to contact National Trust.

Clerk to contact Welsh Water to see if there was funding available for villages to go on to mains services.
