Last Monday saw the handover of officers of the Rotary Club of Saundersfoot. Howard Griffiths becomes the past president, but now takes on a significant role by taking over the duties of the national treasurer with RIBI, which will involve dedication and considerable travel. Norman Spence is the new president of the Rotary Club of Saundersfoot, which meets weekly at Merlewood Hotel. President-elect is Ian Nicholls and vice-president is Stewart Treharne. Rtn Ted Whatley becomes District 1150 secretary. All members wished them success in their new roles and hoped that the high standards of public service provided by RIBI would continue, especially the tremendous assistance given to the local community by the dedication of the club members.
