The next 'All Age' service at St. Nicholas and St. Teilo's Church, Penally, is on November 16, at 9.30 am, and will be led by team vicar, Michael John.
At the October service, over coffee, people spoke of their enjoyment and the lively and uplifting atmosphere when the church shared in the theme of rejoicing for God's gifts and for our faith.
They said how much they had welcomed the opportunity the church had given them in listening to what they had to say. The church had said 'we want to hear from you' and those present felt that the church was being less timid and far more positive in reaching out. 'There was a message here for living out our Christian Faith'.
They shared team vicar Michael John's view that the contemporary music led by the choir had given a different dimension to the worship. The service made a statement that Penally church is for everyone and they will all be warmly welcomed.
The Fairtrade stall held on the third Sunday did very brisk business and will be normally there on third Sundays during coffee time.
