Lamphey's quest for Alec Colley cup honours fell flat at the first attempt as they were brushed aside with ease against Llanrhian.
The victors may have driven half way across the county to play, but they felt no ill-effects from travelling as they were invited to bat first and amassed a whopping 209-3.
First team regular Ben Jones was the hero, scoring 100 not out, including 11 fours, and he shared a first wicket partnership of 119 with RV Jones, who scored 34.
Graham Purser was the best bowler for Lamphey, taking 1-50 as he enticed RV Jones to give a steepling catch that was expertly taken by young Dan Cremin.
In reply, Lamphey were bundled out for 65, with Nic Johnson the only one in double figures as he slammed seven boundaries in his 30, an innings played on virtually one leg after sustaining a knee injury while playing for the firsts last month.
Pembroke entertained Haverfordwest and were no match for the visitors despite racking up 135-6.
Colin Kajaks proved there was still plenty of class left in his legs as he top scored with 38, while there were double figure scores for Dan Scourfield, Dan Williams and Andrew Price.
Nigel Delaney was the Town's best bowler, taking 3-35.
In reply, Haverfordwest had no real dramas in passing the total as Richard James stroked a classy 52 with seven fours and one six, while Adam Raymond was unbeaten on 48 as the Town only lost two wickets.
Cresselly had no problems disposing of Stackpole as they knocked off the required runs in 12 overs.
Chasing 97 to win, an unbeaten 55 by Andrew Harris, coupled with an unbeaten 28 by Neal Williams, sealed the passage through to the next round.
James Adie top scored for Stackpole in their innings of 96 all out by scoring 25 not out, while Alan Webster struck 18.
For Cresselly, Sion Jenkins took 2-23, Iwan Izard 2-24 and Matthew Lewis 2-18.
Finally, Saundersfoot bombed out of the cup at the hands of Burton as they batted first and amassed 137-3, with Nick Cope hitting a brilliant 86 not out with four sixes and nine fours.
Apart from Mike Franklin's 13 (all singles), no other batsman managed double figures.
Rob Griffiths got Burton's reply off to a good start with 55, while brother Jon hit an unbeaten 26 in the reply as they passed the total for the loss of seven wickets.
Cope proved heroic with both bat and ball as he took 3-32, while Chris Parker took 1-33.
