The launch of the Pembrokeshire Learning Festival, at Haverfordwest, at the weekend, has been hailed as a great success.
The first event in Adult Learner's Week was opened by Clr. Islwyn Howells, at the Riverside Market, where taster sessions and stalls offered a range of activities, including wine tasting, cookery demonstrations, hand massage and quizzes, to the public.
The event was a showcase of learning opportunities for adult learners and was supported by the Pembrokeshire Learning Partnership.
Margaret Bond from Careers Wales West commented: "This has been a really successful event and has helped to raise awareness amongst the public of the wide range of learning opportunities for adults in Pembrokeshire."
