A TENBY restaurant has been voted by readers of Wales' national daily newspaper, the Western Mail, as being among the top 25 in the country.
The Plantagenet House Restaurant, Quay Hill, made the elite chart after the voting public nominated it as one of the best restaurants in the land, praising its "excellent atmosphere with log fires and candles on the tables, making you feel like the hosts' personal guest."
Proprietor Barney Stone was delighted with the acknowledgement.
"There must be over 10,000 restaurants throughout the country, so it's a great accolade for us to be the only place in Pembrokeshire to make the chart and great to receive recognition by the public of Wales.
"It's nice to know that people who have dined here have had a memorable meal and made the effort to tell everyone how much they enjoyed the experience," continued Barney.
