Fourteen Saundersfoot Strollers met up in Narberth on a glorious sunny morning, with not a waterproof in sight; for their weekly walk.
Very relieved to have a dry day after the atrocious weather this month, the group met at the castle and were keen to get going on this five-mile circular route, south of the town, taking in some lovely footpaths by streams and through woodlands towards Cold Blow, before eventually joining up with the Knights Way for a short section. This involved a couple of ‘uppies’ (the Strollers always love a good uppie!), and inevitably a bit of mud!
But the views on this route are always worth the effort- with Narberth perched on the hill with the Preselis as a backdrop - particularly good as visibility was excellent.
The group then returned to Narberth and refreshments at Sospan Bach Café before returning home.
