Pupils from St. Florence School were treated to some traditional song and dance lessons this week when American musical duo, Bayo Seco, paid them a visit.

Ken Keppeler and Jeanie McLerie, who form the heart of Bayou Seco, have been researching and playing the music of south-west USA - from the Mississippi to the deserts of Arizona - for 22 years.

Children were able to join in with the musical fun, by participating in a sing-a-long, while picking up a few new dance moves along the way, and also learn about the origins of the style of music.

The duo, who have taken their style of music all over the world, were hosted by Span Arts for the school's workshop, also visiting Narberth School.
