Sir,
Perhaps it is not wise to answer a knock at the door after dark, but curiosity got the better of me and the December evenings can be long, espeically if nothing appeals on television.
I was rewarded with a big smile and friendly greeting from a very pleasant young man who asked if I was going to vote in the election.
My vote having already been posted, he laughingly said he hoped it was for Labour. I admitted I’d decided to go along with the Lib Dems.
He was so pleasant, cheerful and polite. We did not exchange views on Brexit - or the price of fish!
He just broke through the darkness of a winter night with a smile and good-natured banter.
If he ever becomes PM, I am sure he would get on well with world leaders!
Barbara Stredder,
Tenby
