Weight Watchers have introduced a new 'Quick and Easy Start' for 2007 at their meeting in Narberth.
The plan gets you off to a flying start and research shows that good results in the early weeks of weight loss are linked to better overall success. Local residents have asked the weight loss organisation to help them lose weight and get healthier. So Weight Watchers have opened a new meeting in the Queen's Hall, with the first being held last week.
The regular weekly meetings are being run by leader Veronica Davies, who lost a fantastic 44lbs with Weight Watchers.
Veronica was so inspired by her own success that she decided to help others achieve their aspirations.
"I don't have a magic wand, but what I do have is a never-ending supply of encouragement, support and enthusiasm to offer, all spiced up with a sprinkling of fun," she said. "With Weight Watchers you can lose weight while eating real food. No food is forbidden - the plans are so flexible and you can eat the foods you enjoy." Veronica is looking forward to welcoming new members to all her meetings. Anyone joining in January can take advantage of free registration - a saving of £9 on their first week.
