HMS Ocean, the flagship of the Royal Navy, is currently deployed on operations in the Middle East - complete with former Greenhill students from Tenby on board!

Two of them Petty Officer Ollie Dugmore and ETME Matthew Hancock will be serving on the ship until it returns home to Devonport (Plymouth) in March. Matthew has served in the Royal Navy for four years and took HMS Ocean out of refit after a huge mechanical overhaul. He continued to serve on her for two Operation Cougar deployments. Petty Officer Dugmore, 33, has served for 14 years and joined HMS Ocean this year.

Dugmore has completed many deployments such as OP Telic and OP Kalash and now serving on his first Op Cougar.
