Sir,
Please can you help me to say a big thank you to some people. During half term week I came with my foster son, who has special needs, for a holiday in Tenby. On the Tuesday my son had a temper tantrum which resulted in us having to visit Tenby's MIU. The staff there were fantastic and really helped calm him down and got his arm x rayed.
I am so pleased people have campaigned to keep it open because I don't think I would have made it to Withybush with him being hysterical.
We then had to travel to Withybush where a lovely man named Terry delayed going home so he could plaster my son's arm.
I would also like to say a huge thank you to the staff at Specsavers at Pembroke Dock. I phoned them up at 8.30 the next morning, as one of his glass lens had broken and he is dependent on his glasses. They phoned my local Specsavers 175 miles away, got a copy of his prescription, obtained the right lens and repaired his glasses by 2 pm. Without them we would have had to return home early.
Thank you all so much, because without you the incident would have been a lot worse. Thank you once again
Gaynor Moore and Tom,
