A Pembroke Dock woman is to appear in court next month after denying that she had failed to pay her TV licence.

Thirty-eight-year-old Elizabeth Dunn, of Albion Square, appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday, to make a statutory declaration following a conviction for the offence at Merthyr Tydfil magistrates court of using a colour television without a licence.

Ms Dunn pleaded not guilty to the offence, which is said to have occurred on November 1, 2016, and was told that she would now have to appear at Merthyr Tydfil magistrates court (the only court in Wales that deals with TV licensing offences) for a trial on March 14.
