The family of a 33-year-old woman who sadly died following a serious road traffic collision on the A40 near Llanddewi Velfrey, have paid tribute to her - describing the mother as an ‘inspiration’.

Jodie Amanda James died in hospital on Sunday, August 24, after she was seriously injured in a collision while riding her bike on the A40 on the morning of Friday, August 22.

“Jodie was an inspiration, a very special person to us all,” they added.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses of the collision.

Anyone who was travelling along the A40 near Llanddewi Velfrey at around 8am on Friday, August 22 and has dash-cam footage is asked to contact police via:
