Tractor drink driver disqualified

A man accused of drink driving a tractor on a village road near Tenby has been banned from getting behind the wheel of a vehicle for a year.

Twenty-four-year-old Emyr George Jenkins, of St Florence, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Wednesday, to plead guilty to a charge of driving a Case Tractor on an unclassified road in the village, with 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, on November 3.

Magistrates disqualified the defendant from driving for 12 months and fined him £512 for the offence.

Mr. Jenkins was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £150 and a £51 victim surcharge.
