A Tenby man is to stand trial accused of firearm and drugs offences.

Liam Mansbridge, aged 26, of Knowling Mead, appeared at Swansea Crown Court before Judge Keith Thomas today (Friday) for a plea and case management hearing.

He denied a charge of aggravated burglary by breaking into a garden shed in Newell Hill on May 12 this year while armed with an imitation firearm - an air pistol - and intending to cause damage.

Mansbridge also denied damaging a tumble drier belonging to Rhian Kirstie Buckland and a charge of supplying her with a quantity of cannabis.

He admitted a charge of offering to supply her with cannabis and of possessing cannabis, but denied a further offence of possessing cannabis with the intention of supplying another.

The alleged drugs offences were said to have been committed on various dates in May.

Mansbridge, who is being held in custody at Swansea prison, was told a two-day trial would begin on August 31.
