Tenby’s RNLI all-weather lifeboat The Haydn Miller was launched shortly after 11.30 am on Friday (November 15), over fears for the owner of a dog that had reportedly gone in after it when it fell off a cliff into the sea at Rhossili.

The volunteer crew were quickly on the water and headed for Rhossili, 15 miles east of Tenby.

Whilst enroute, further news came in that the dog owner had rescued his dog and both were now ashore and in no further danger, and with that the lifeboat stood down and returned to Tenby.
