Quantities of Class A and B drugs found at an address has seen a Milford man charged in court.

Thirty-four-year-old Nathan Ensor Jones, of Neyland Road, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to admit three counts of drugs possession.

The defendant pleaded guilty to possessing 2.07 grams of cocaine; 33.93 grams of amphetamine; and 11.12 grams of cannabis at the hearing.

Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard-Jones told the court that police officers executed a search warrant at Mr. Jones’ address on September 26 of last year.

“The drugs were found all there on the premises. Mr. Jones made full admissions to police at the scene and when interviewed after that the drugs were his.

“Officers made enquiries as to whether he was selling the drugs due to the quantities found, but there was no evidence to support this,” continued Mr. Pritchard-Jones.

Defence solicitor Tom Lloyd told the court that his client who was father to five children had a ‘lot on his plate’ at the time, but hadn’t been in trouble since 2017.

Magistrates fined Mr. Jones a total of £200 for the possession charges and also ordered him to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

A destruction order was also passed for the drugs.
