Tenby’s lifeboat crew and the local coastguard team were called out this afternoon (September 13) after being paged to a report of an inflatable dingy floating out to sea off South Beach.
The RNLI’s inshore lifeboat was launched around 5.30 pm reaching the casualties and assisting them to shore where they were met by Coastguard officers who gave safety advice.
It was the second call out of the day for the Tenby Coastguard Rescue team who along with HM Coastguard Llansteffan were paged to assist Heddlu Dyfed Powys Police with a search for a missing child at Pendine Sands.
As the teams were on route to location, information was received that the child had been found safe and well.
