A Whitland motorist accused of drink driving will re-appear in court later this month after her hearing was adjourned.
Forty-two-year-old Louise Lewis, of Llanfallteg, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with driving her VW Polo on the A478 at Templeton, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in her breath exceeded the prescribed limit.
Mrs. Lewis is alleged to have given a reading of 47 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath after being arrested.
Her solicitor Jonathan Webb indicated to the court that she would be pleading guilty to the offence, but explained that there would be a ‘special reasons’ case to consider as to why his client shouldn’t be disqualified from driving.
The case was adjourned and a further hearing was set for February 21.
Mrs. Lewis was released on unconditional bail.
