Two men facing charges of causing grievous bodily harm in Tenby last summer are set to appear at Swansea Crown Court next month.
Forty-five-year-old Andrew Mason, of Penyfan View, Merthyr Tydfil, and 49-year-year-old Jason Price, of Tan Y Bryn, Aberdare, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to face a series of charges relating to an incident which occurred in Tenby on August 5 last year.
Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard Jones told the court that the incident was a ‘mass brawl in effect’ which left a number of persons injured.
Mr. Mason has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm; and using threatening and unlawful violence towards other persons.
Mr. Price was also charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm; inflicting grievous bodily harm; two charges of occasioning actual bodily harm; and using threatening and unlawful violence towards other persons.
The matter was sent to Swansea Crown Court and both defendants, who were released on unconditional bail, will appear for a hearing on Friday, October 13.
