Tenby coastguard rescue team were paged on Wednesday afternoon to the east end of Amroth beach to assist Welsh ambulance service with the medical evacuation of a casualty who had slipped on rocks at the far end of the beach and sustained injuries.

Coastguards were alerted to the incident shorty before 12.30 pm, and assisted the casualty from the beach into the care of awaiting paramedics who provided further treatment.
