An eight-year-old boy was attacked by a dog on the field of the cricket club in Pennar sometime between 5.30 and 6.30 pm on August 2. He sustained a minor injury. A police investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information is asked to contact police by calling 101.
