This summer has been a busy one for Tenby and Saundersfoot First Responders. Not only have they attended numerous 999 calls on behalf of the Welsh Ambulance Service, but they have also been placing more defibrillators out into the community.

New defibrillators have been placed in St. Ishmaels, funded by the St. Ishmaels Community Defibrillator Fund. They were sited at Aenon Baptist Church and on the slipway at Sandy Bay.

A defibrillator has also been placed at Hill Rise bus stop, Kilgetty. This was funded the East Williamston Community Council.

The team were also very grateful to be invited to attend the New Minerton Caravan Park Fun Day last Saturday after being chosen to be their charity for this year. They attended with a variety of kit and literature and gave demonstrations of CPR and the use of defibrillators and then handed over to the public to have a go. It was a great day out and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves while learning some new skills.
