A Tenby woman raised nearly £700 for guide dog training by walking 90 miles last month.

Sheila Ravenscroft, treasurer of Pembrokeshire Fundraising Group of Guide Dogs Cymru set herself the task of walking three miles a day during November. This totalled 90 miles during the month, and was Sheila’s recognition of the 90th Anniversary of the first four guide dogs being trained in the UK.

The members of the Pembrokeshire Fundraising Group of Guide Dogs Cymru wish to congratulate and thank their treasurer for her achievement.

Sheila has raised a total of almost £700 which will help towards the training of guide dogs for visually impaired people, and local guide dogs, Nancy and Henry wish to add their thanks.

The Pembrokeshire Group would also like to wish all their supporters throughout the county a very happy Christmas and a peaceful and healthy 2022, and look forward to their continued support in the future.
