This year's annual Open Week, the 30th to be staged by Tenby Golf Club, got off to a lively start on Saturday with a captain's reception in the recently refurbished clubhouse lounges.
Visitors from golf clubs throughout the UK were welcomed to the town by Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, Mayor of Tenby, and to the club by club captain, Idwal David.
Following the formal welcomes, organiser Bob Parsons outlined the details of the full week of golf and entertainment which lay ahead.
A lively evening ensued, with regular and first timers enjoying the opportunity to mix with old friends and meet new friends.

A beautiful sunny day greeted 75 pairs for the opening day's golfing, commencing at 8.30 am and concluding at 6.30 pm.
